Our Pastor
 

Pastor Timothy B. Deas, Sr., the youngest child of Bishop & Mrs. Titus B. Deas, Sr, is a native of Leon County, Tallahassee, FL. In the year of 1980, the family relocated to Fort Valley, GA. He received his early education in the Peach County School system and later received a B.S. in Middle Grades Education from the Fort Valley State University and an M.S. in Middle Grades Education from Walden University. He is a 6th & 7th Grade Gifted Language Arts teacher.

Pastor Deas began preaching at a very young age. In 1991, he totally surrendered his life to the Lord and accepted his call into the ministry. In October 1998, he was ordained as an Elder in the First Born Church of the Living God, Inc. He has ministered extensively throughout the Eastern United States in numerous revivals. He has a heart for all people, and his desire is to see souls saved, set free, healed, and delivered through both the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. 

In December 2005, Pastor Deas was appointed to Senior Pastor of the Greater Cathedral of Praise Ministries. He is an anointed vessel of God, chosen to lead this wonderful church family in such a time as this. He is a man with a vision and a man of excellence, striving to please the Lord in all that he does. Pastor Deas has been blessed with gifts, graces, and knowledge that he has been mandated to share with the body of Christ. He has served as a mentor to many and is a spiritual father to many sons and daughters as well.

Pastor Deas presently serves as the District Superintendent of the North-Central Georgia District of the First Born Church of the Living God, Inc. 

He is married to the lovely Co-Pastor Christina Green Deas, and they are the proud parents of one daughter, Trinity Jahne’ and one son, Timothy Jr. 
 

Co-Pastor Christina Deas is the daughter of Bishop & Mrs. Willie C. Green of Quincy, FL. She is a graduate of the Gadsen County School system and the Florida State University. Co-Pastor is an anointed psalmist and a prayer warrior as well. She is the director of the GCOP Women Aflame Ministry and has served in other capacities in the ministry to include Praise team member and choir member. She has answered the call of ministry and is a licensed minister in the First Born Church of the Living God, Inc. Co-Pastor has ministered in song with several recording artists and often times ministers before her husband delivers the Word. She is indeed a blessing to the GCOP family and the body of Christ at large. 

She is a devoted wife, mother, and friend; she exemplifies the qualities of a virtuous woman of God.
